Appointment Policy

 To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.

All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

For your convenience, "drop-off" appointments are available. A "drop off" means you can bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for several hours. Usually we will ask you to "drop off" in the morning so our doctors can examine your pet in between appointments or at the time reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor has completed the examinatino, he/she will call you to explain their findings and to give you discharge instructions. 

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. Payment plans are not available. For your convenience, we accept Care Credit, American Express,Visa, MasterCard, Cash and Personal Checks.

Identity Theft Policy

The Federal Trade Commission has taken steps to help reduce Identity Theft and is requiring businesses to  take steps to reduce potential fraud.  We at BridgeMill Animal Hospital support these efforts and will take reasonable steps to prevent fraudulent transactions associated with Identity Theft.  As part of our commitment to a "Culture of Security", we have implemented a Sensitive Information Policy which requires us to confirm the identity of persons using credit cards and paying by check. To do this, we must see your picture ID at the time of each transaction.  In addition, we will not release any information about your pet, including but not limited to, vaccine history without your permisison.  To leave permission on file for future use, please visit our forms page, print the consent form and mail it to us.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, but hope that you appreciate the efforts we are taking to protect our customers.
